Ageliki Gerovassili is a graduate of the Department of Molecular Genetics at King’s College London with Honours, and holds an MSc in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal medicine from University College London. She has a PhD in Genetics from King’s College London in non-invasive prenatal diagnosis of aneuploidy and monogenic diseases, funded by the Fetal Medicine Foundation and led by Prof Kypros Nikolaides. She holds the title of "Associate of King's College" having completed her studies in ethics, philosophy and religious dissertation. She has been trained by the European Genetics Foundation in Genetic Counseling. She is an adjunct lecturer of undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the University of Thessaly since 2007. She has published 1 book, and 12 peer reviewed articles in international scientific journals. Her work has more than 1770 citations with h-index 8.
